"Great outlook lovely pool and great food. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Loved my stay there."

"This was a really beautiful place. I would like to come back another time."

"Friendly and happy staff in all areas which says a lot about how the hotel is run. Had my room unexpectedly upgraded on arrival due to a fault found with the originally booked room. The room I had did have a small issue with the private jacuzzi leaking but no major issues. Food and drink were excellent throughout my stay. Highly recommend staying here to anybody wanting a few days of relaxing peace after touring the country."

"great place! the breakfast was delicious and portion sizes were great. I visited during the off season and had the entire place and pool to myself. the AC in the room and hot water pressure in the bathroom was a great surprise.pool was great and clean and we'll maintained. you can take a pickme to go around the town and get to the beach . would visit again"

"Lovely budget hotel and close yo the beach etc. Highly recommend as a reasonably priced place to stay."

"Right on the Beach! Staff is Wonderful! "

"We came for a family holiday and we have all had a wonderful time. Everything was perfect."

"Friendly hosts who showed us the property and let us enjoy in peace. Stronger wifi would have been helpful, however the location and the cleanliness helped us overlook that!"

"The food is amazing. Especially the Sri Lankan Breakfast. Wonderful view and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!!"

"Needs to be much more customer and traveller oriented on your inside restaurant and Bar needs to be much more colourful and separate."

"This was a nice hotel, right on the beach, loads of staff considering only four rooms taken, friendly people."

"Everything about this hotel is great, exceptionally friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, nice pool and good breakfast!"

" it was surprise to me when I reached the hotel and had to leave it since it is nothing like the mis leading deceiving pictures where the hotel was extremely dirty, deserted, the bed with pee stains, hygiene zero and 3 guys managing it who has zero hygiene and didn’t look like they are running the place which was quite creepy. Don’t be fooled by review and pictures. I had to leave and didn’t get refund so do hotels.com didn’t refund me when I reported the issue in the same moment. I had to lose...

"At the end of our Sri Lanka holiday we decided to spend a bit more on our Unawatuna hotel & were not disappointed. We had large rooms with loads of space, kitchen, really comfy beds, excellent views from our balconies. The staff were helpful & the pool lovely. We did book nicer rooms that some there & didn't eat so can't comment on the food. It's a bit of a walk or a short Tuk Tuk ride to the main tourist area or a beach but that also means it's quiet there."

"The room was clean. The a/c worked well. The staff were responsive and Varuna the front of house supervisor is a gem!"

"Very nice accomodation, totally clean, nice room, in the best area and excellent people. Top"

"Terrific rooms, lovely breakfast and helpful staff."

"Amazing place, cool art everywhere and huge rooms, lovely private beach where you can spot sea turtles, lovely staff and breakfast. Monkeys in the trees and fish in the ponds, a scene of tranquility only a short tuk tuk frol galle fort."
