What a gem of an Inn. Honestly we could not be happier. Guy and Goy are such kind people and you can tell take a lot of pride in their space. Location is unreal, rooms and beautiful and clean. Service and amenities are top notch.

Great place to stay!

We got our entry codes as promised. Entry and registration easy. Check out the common room. You can cook, sit at a lovely long table to eat. Welcome note as we used the Keurig early morning telling us that we would find real cream in the fridge in the common room. It is beautifully quiet - no TV in our room.

Excellent stay in Val-David. As part of our four day P’tit Train du Nord bike ride we chose Oberge Inn as our final stop. Our room was comfortable and well equipped with a kitchenette. It had nice view over the riverside property. Our host was very friendly, we appreciated using the common kitchen and the outdoor lounging areas and bonfire to spend time with the couple we were travelling with and to meet the other guests. Although we did not use it, there is a small beach area for swimming and kayaking. The Inn is easily accessible from the bike path and has a secure area to store your bikes. Walking into centre of Val-David was a short stroll over a little bride on the Rivière du Nord.

Very clean and updated house, room and bathroom. Hair dryer in bathroom as well as a combo hand/body/shampoo soap. Access to shared kitchen was nice. Milk, tea, coffee available for guests to use. Enjoyed a swim in river at back of property. Walk to restaurants. Hosts invited guests to bonfire at night which was nice. Self checkin but hosts live on property and were available for any questions.

The oberge was very clean and beautifully located by the river. You can tell that the owners put their love and pride in making the place comfortable. The room was very nice and though the AC was only available in the hallway, it was comfortable (we came in the middle of the heat dome!).

Such a beautiful property. There is a volleyball court and many outdoor games. We enjoyed a fire in the evening. The room is quiet and very clean. The bed is very comfortable. We rode our bikes along the P'tit Train du Nord and this place is very close to the trail along a scenic footpath. We had a short walk to the restaurant.

Lovely Little Hostel in Beautiful Area

We stayed here for the Labor Day weekend while our kids were at a nearby camp. This was the perfect little couple’s getaway. We loved our room and the entire setting. The grounds were adorable with sand volleyball, bbq, deck areas and hammocks, bike storage and rental and right along a nice river view for SUP or kayaking. From here we conveniently were able to go hiking in the Val David Regional Park and in Mont Tremblant National Park. Beautiful views all around. If you stay and like to hike we recommend the hiking loop C where from the top you get a great view of Lac Dore. Thank you for a great place to call home for a few days.

Great stay at Oberge!

The Overage Inn was perfect! I was doing the marathon on the P'tit Train du Nord trail, and the Inn was less than 1/2 mile walking distance to the start. The Innkeeper was wonderful and offered to help me find transportation back to the Inn after the race. The breakfast each morning was delicious and convenient...and they even had a small fire pit by the lake each evening. The Inn was cozy, well appointed, and really comfortable. And all the people staying there were friendly and great to talk to. There was also a grocery store and a few local restaurants within walking distance. I will return in the future!

This is a very nice property on the river next to the centre of Val David. Very convenient to good restaurants. The property is equipped with many outdoor games and facilities. Breakfast was very good and complete. Unfortunately the air conditioning is just in the corridor and not in the individual hotel rooms so the night was rather hot because it was unusually hot weather. Lorraine and Guy were very friendly and helpful. We shall return for another visit.

In the summer it could be amazing. Volleyball area, beautiful patio on the river, canoes for rent and pickup after, community kitchen with lovely breakfast provided. No airconditioning in rooms downstairs and since we were there in fall not sure how hot it would be in summer on very hot days. Host very quick to respond and very kind and generous. Our room was not ready when we got there and he upgraded us immediately to a suite with kitchen! Loved it and would stay there again if price suits!

We loved this inn. Our room with a kitchenette was very well designed and had everything we needed to cook breakfast. We also could have cooked dinner there. The place was super clean and seemed to be recently renovated. The grounds were lovely; we wish we had spent more time there. We stayed a week while attending a music camp at a nearby lake. We highly recommend this beautiful inn.
