Although it's no fault of the hotel, GPS programs insist on directing you on tiny, steep lanes to bring you to and take you from the property. Highly recommended to not rely on GPS apps. "If you are looking for a small town Crete experience this is a good place for that. Everyone was friendly, the house was cute and looked like the pictures. The hosts dinner recommendation, a short walk away, for Ethimiko, was very good. The only real issue we had was that the WiFi was not connecting in the room. If you want a disconnected experience this is your spot. The host did let us know they are working on getting a router for the room so this may be fixed soon. "

"I had a lovely stay at Rodi Blue. The property is in a great location just off the main road. The room was very clean and comfortable. The property manager, Catarina, went above and beyond to help assist me during my stay. She helped make dinner reservations, booked a motorbike rental and even dropped me off at the bus station in Heraklion after check out!! Outstanding customer service. This place is a gem, BOOK IMMEDIATELY!! "

"This was my favourite stay in Greece. The host was so warm and welcoming everytime. She made me feel like i was at home. The beach is more quiet than Matala and a 10 minute bus ride from Matala if you want to visit the town. Beautiful long beach and restaurants and very peaceful with not many tourists. I liked that the room has fridge, cooking top and kettle with full kitchen utensils. The bathroom is small but hot water is good. I will for sure recommend Haroula's place for your next stay!"

"This was one of the worst hotels we've been too. The pictures of hotel rooms here are much better from what u get. Technically it should be rated as a Hostel! We had booked the hotel 4 months in advance for 3 people, and we got a room that had 2 single beds, and a sofa bed. The owner said "Other rooms are booked now". The shower head wasnt working (until we asked them to fix it) and had no warm water. There was no soap in the washroom. And they'd not change the towels or bed sheets every day....

"Perfect place to stay away from the chaos of Heraklion! The food in the restaurant is AMAZING - definitely try the grilled mushrooms if you can (we had it twice)! The homemade white and red wine are also amazing! The room was clean and spacious, and the property itself is beautiful and peaceful. Nicolas was an amazing dinner host.
