"A beautiful villa in a great location. We were able to walk to the local village in less than 10 minutes which has great places to eat and a well stocked, small shop. Lovely view to the hills and sea with an easy drive to the nearest beach in 5 minutes. "This property was the highlight of our vacation! We had the most relaxing few days possible. The hosts were lovely, the accommodations were extremely clean and the view was amazing. The listing description was a bit vague, it turned out the property was even better than we had expected. The location was great but you definitely need access to a vehicle for food, beaches, etc. and the road up to the villa is a bit rough. But if you’ve spent time driving around Crete this shouldn’t be a problem."

"Stelios and Maria were very welcoming and always available if we needed anything. The accommodation offered us everything we needed and was well located for trips to the beach, Heraklion and the airport. Some good recommendations from Stelios so try those out. We had welcome gifts when we arrived and Stelios’ parents next door also kindly dropped in some fruit. Enjoy the sounds of the countryside and the cicadas and make the booking. "We have just enjoyed 2 weeks at the lovely villa Stella hosted by the very helpful and friendly Alexandros. Immaculately clean and with the basic supplies, coffee, tea, bread, home grown grapes, bread and salad ready and waiting for us on arrival. We were even treated to a bottle of the owners own grown olive oil. Simply couldn’t ask for more. The road to the house is very steep so a good car is essential. Would definitely recommend. "

"Excellent stay at Marina’s villa. Conveniently located 10-15min from Héraklion’s airport which is nice when arriving late like we did. The property manager was very reactive and available at checking in and out. The owners are very nice and offered us some delicious local pastries.
