"Quiet, Nature, Relax but no pool. The overall experience was excellent if you are wanting to disconnect and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. My wife and I enjoyed walking the trails (in the morning due to rainy conditions later in the day). The grounds were well kept, and the rooms were simple and clean. We toured each room category, and found them to all be spacious (even the queen room). The rooms with whirlpool tubs were nice if you like that sort of thing. The whirlpool in the suits...

"The property is just a 2 minute drive from La fortuna its in an excellent location that offers both peace and quiet as well as access to great restaurants and activities. The on site amenities are excellent including the restaurant. The hotel staff is attentive, helpful and very responsive. Id recommend Casa Del Rio to any couple of family in La Fortuna! "Great property right in the middle of La Fortuna. Within 30 mins drive of all the places and things you want to see/do. Beautiful view of the volcano. Friendly staff. Rooms are in very lush vegetation which gives a mystic vibe. Amazing experience all together. "

"This was the 2nd time we have stayed there. We returned because of the amazing experience the 1st time last year and we got the same amazing stay this year. I think they are always cleaning and taking care of the property, so rooms and hotel look amazing. The entire staff are friendly, welcoming, talkative and go out of their way to to ensure a good trip. They learn your name, even when only staying a few days. I would definitely recommend staying there. "

"WOW! We are staying 4 nights and so lucky to have chosen this hotel. The setting is fantastic, lovely and so relaxing especially the gardens, river, pond with ducks and the refreshing covered outdoor pool. Staff Marinela & Elena are very kind, helpful and efficient. Our room is spacious but minimal storage space. Lots of free parking and safe. Delicious outdoor breakfast by Karina and Cristina. A short drive to the town center. Highly recommended!"
