"We had a relaxing and “peaceful” stay at Andrea and Scott’s cottage in early October. It’s in great condition and very tastefully decorated. The beds and the sofa were very comfy and the kitchen was one of the best we’ve been in as a rental. We enjoyed being beside one of the trailheads for Seal Bay park. We also really appreciated having a fully fenced yard for our dog ! although we didn’t leave her alone out there. That is so hard to find in rentals. Andrea was very responsive and we enjoyed trying the eggs from their hens. Good location. We enjoyed seeing the pink salmon spawning in the Tsolem river about a 15 min drive away. Would love to return for another stay! "

"I’m giving this a five star review, not because I think it’s a five star hotel, but because it was exactly what we needed and what I expected. The room was clean and fairly large, with everything we needed. Beautiful view of the ocean in the front and forest in the back. Extremely quiet. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom worked totally fine. Tv worked. Furniture and decor was definitely old, but no issues. Check in was easy and owner was very friendly. I’d definitely recommend."

"We love visiting this property. Its really comfortable, next door to a historic theater and amazing indian food. The breakfast is also excellent. "
