"We spent a wonderful 5 nights here to explore the cognac region. The staff are fantastic, the gardens beautiful, and the food absolutely superb. They have a large selection of cognacs to taste too. "Right across the river from the Musée de la Bande Dessinée! Requires a bit of an uphill hike to get to the center of town but there are also easy nearby bus stops to take you there. Service was fantastic, breakfast was tasty and the hotel is pretty neat. No AC though. "

"Nous n'avons pas pu passer la nuit, la réception fermant à 20h. Nous avons reçu l'e-mail de confirmation de réservation à 19h53. Nous étions encore en route, et il s'avère que le dernier paragraphe mentionne que la réception ferme à 20h. Ils ne prennent pas la peine d'appeler, et Expedia, où nous avons fait la réservation, ne donne même aucune information. Un endroit très douteux ; mieux vaut éviter cette étape. Au final, cela nous a coûté 148 €, et il s'est avéré qu'il y avait un très bon motel...

"Great place to stay with the family - walking distance from station and excellent games areas to keep the kids happy! Staff were really helpful, lovely breakfast and fun/practical decor. We only stayed a night on this trip but would come here again and would recommend it to other families. "
