"The Chateau de Bellefontaine is beautiful, romantic and a treat. Our "room" was actually a very large bedroom and very large bathroom. We felt like royalty. The grounds are something you read of in old novels. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The on-site restaurant provided a delicious dinner at modest prices. The location is a quick walk into Bayeux (so no worrying about parking in town). We enjoyed our brief (2 night) stay very much and would look forward to staying again."

We visited in January and the fire was always burning which was pleasant. The room was spacious with everything needed. The restaurant was outstanding and we highly recommend it. "

On our last night we had to leave to catch a ferry before breakfast was scheduled to start and when the staff heard this without us asking us they arrange for a to go bag of food and coffee. When we came down the next morning we came to catch our cab. We had a nice breakfast for our long day trip. The stay was wonderful. "
