Hotel Riu Guanacaste - All Inclusive

"Overall, a very positive stay. The property is kept very clean. Rooms are spacious and clean. The pool system is a great one! It is a LARGE property. The beach area is very pretty and large as well. The cover in the pool area is well done offering good shade all day. You need it as the sun hits hard here. Staff is 90% smiles and very helpful. Where the property tanks is the food!! Very bland and few if no seafood offering in any of the "restaurants." If you've been to the DR you understand the food isn't bad but it isn't anything special. It is a step below that on this property. There are issues parking as well. HUGE parking lot but be prepared to be lucky and find a decent spot or you are walking what amounts to a few city blocks with no shade in some intense sun. The pool signs say closed at 6pm but that means the bar and towel service. You are allowed in the pool at any time. Overall, it wasn't an issue. We had a ocean/pool view room. At thene nd of our stay the ghetto from America arrived and were LOUD all night in the pool, ending at 5am. Staff should have done something but did not. Basically, improve the food and this place would be off the hook good! Rent the car and go see Costa Rica! At least hit Playa de Coco. Close proximity small surfer town. So much more to see. Worth dealing with the crummy roads and off-and-on cell service. Waze beats Google and Apple here. Costa Rican people in towns are usually very friendly"

"Our stay at The Westin Reserva Conchal was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The property is stunning, with beautifully maintained grounds, incredible wildlife, and direct access to a gorgeous beach. The all-inclusive dining options exceeded our expectations, offering a wide variety of high-quality food and drinks throughout the resort. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional service. Every team member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our vacation memorable. The pools were relaxing, the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, and there were plenty of activities for both relaxation and adventure. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Costa Rica."
The Coast Beachfront Hotel

"We stayed in one of the small bungalows facing the beach and the view was amazing. The unit itself was reasonably large and generally comfortable. By us hotel standards, I'm comfortable saying this is a solid three and a half and potentially four Star resort. The quibbles are minor, a couple of bent corners on screens. A little adjustment needed to the shower water temperature faucet. The advantages are great. Thelocation is wonderful, both for walking on the beach and walking into town. I would recommend this place and we'll stay there again"

"This is a great resort. Right off the beach, our breakfast and dinner were spent under the shade of the trees looking into the Pacific ocean and sunset. Absolutely stunning views. The entire resort was well kept with very friendly staff. We're really happy that we stayed here."

"La vista de la piscina infinita es mágica. El desayuno muy tradicional y variado, personal muy muy amable y atento, Irlanda es muy comedida y servicial. Solo el ascensor no funcionó en nuestro piso y estaba un poco descuidado. Pero del resto, destaco también la limpieza. Totalmente recomendable."

"Good resort. I suggest renting a car for expeditions. The beach is only accessible at low tide and waves are dangerous: not for children. Buffet is okay, probably better in high season. Restaurant is good. Overall nice stay but not a place I would return regularly."

"This was the perfect home. The pictures do not do it justice. The home owner Kelly was so amazing! I felt like we were family. We didn't really have communication with the Host BUT Kelly was there every step of the way she responded fast and made sure we had everything we needed. It was our 40th wedding anniversary and desperately needed a officiant Not only did Kelly find someone she put the deposit down to make sure our day was perfect! If you are looking for a beautiful get away this is the place. We had 4 family's in the home and plenty of space. If I could rate our experience with this home it would be 100%Thank you Kelly!!"
