"Housekeeper knocked on my door and within 5 seconds of knocking, entered my room. I was on my way to open the door and see who was there.. when you knock, you should give the guest a moment to respond before entering. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable for the remainder of my stay. Rooms have a weird smell, however did appear clean. Bedding was uncomfortable, a fleece blanket is a questionable choice for a hotel in Los Angeles… Overall, it was a cheap stay so worth the price. I personally would not stay again, as I felt unsafe and mislead by recent reviews saying the place was updated. It is not. It is very much a cheap motel and that’s what you will pay for and get."

"The check-in process was amazing and they even allowed us an early check-in when we got into town sooner than expected. Access and directions to the location were easy to follow. Area was decorated and well maintained and in such an amazing location towards the beach. I would definitely recommend this place for small groups that are traveling together."
