The property is well situated and close to Venice's main attractions. The only suggestions I would make for this property are to provide better pillows, add more shelf space in the bathroom, and add a shower curtain so you can control the water during a shower.

We had a deluxe room and it was well worth paying a bit more. It was like a suite with a seating area then moving through to a bathroom on one side and a walk in shower on the other side then moving on into the bedroom. The hotel has lots of character and a beautiful garden where we enjoyed eating breakfast and having an aperitif with some lovely savoury snacks. The lounge area was very nicely decorated and comfortable. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. If we return to Venice we will definitely stay at this hotel again. It is so wonderfully located making it easy to get the train or the bus. There are lots of lovely restaurants nearby.

Location to train station and water bus is excellent. Breakfast was tasty. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite small as was the shower but the ambience of staying in an old monastery, convenience and staff make up for that. Because really while in Venice do you want to hang out in your room?

Fabulous one night stay in a peaceful side street off the grand canal close to station. Perfect location on our family Interrail trip. Huge triple room, with large family bathroom & a bath in double room. Excellent breakfast & we enjoyed the garden, lounge bar area. Totally recommend.

Hotel Abbazia is a cozy, historic hotel located on a quiet little pathway away from the crowds. It’s a short walk to the train station and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The included breakfast was exceptional with options for everyone, and the staff was professional, helpful, and friendly. Because the hotel is old, there are a few visible signs of wear and tear, but overall, it has been lovingly restored and is well maintained. The outdoor courtyard is lovely, as is the sitting area next to the lobby, but it’s the staff that makes this hotel stand out. If we ever return to Venice, we’d stay again in a heart beat.

Great property, with a bit of old world charm. A wonderful outdoor courtyard area. Very close to the train station, Venezia St Lucia. Lots to see and do right in the area. Great breakfast included with an amazing variety of food. A few amenities weren’t working properly. A/C not working, leaky toilet, leaky shower surround. But overall would absolutely recommend this hotel
