I was moved to Hotel San Giorgio and it was such an upgrade! The place was super convenient, quiet and clean. The ac worked just fine for my liking and the staff- Martha was amazing! She was very kind, friendly and helpful. Even offered me coffee whwn I was late for breakfast. The room was wonderful! I will definitely stay at Hotel San Giorgio again next visit to Venice. Highly recommended!!

change of property upon arrival. But went from shared bathroom to private bathroom for same price. Both properties are centrally located and are decently priced. Refrigerator was weak. A bed reading light bulb was missing and the shower arm could not be raised. But the overall experience was great and right for the price. Will recommend to other low-budget travelers. Staff was very helpful, considerate and pleasant.

We didn't need the air conditioning, rooms were clean, great location. My husband enjoyed watching the luggage roll across the room due to the slant. Check in was a nightmare. You have to check in by phone, which would have been okay if the person on the other end wasn't so rude. Looking out the window watching the water traffic was interesting. Over all for the price it was comfortable.

The directions to get to the hotel are not very well written. You have to get on one vaparetto and then switch at some point. The rooms are nice and clean. The room we stayed in had mold issues in the bathroom and shower. The shower is so tiny!!!! The beds are very firm and you are only given 1 pretty flat pillow, more were given upon asking. The A/C was a joke. The window open was best, but bring bug spray. Overall it is a nice hotel, but it’s an older building with quirks.

Recommend to stay here 100% ! It’s in a good location to walk to St Marks & Ponte di Rialto! From train station St Lucia to here is a 28 min walk. It’s close to shops & the canals pass right outside to get a gondola.
