Enough if you are only going there to sleep.
Has good transportation to Venezia.
Cheap hotel, ok for 1 night but really outdated. We were in luck, the airco worked and the shower was fine (beside al the water that found it way to the hallway). Rooms need an technical upgrade.
I stayed for two nights last week. They were very kind at the reception about my late check in and the room was clean. There was plenty of towels in the bathroom, however no toilet paper the first night (found a new roll in the room when I came back the next day). The AC worked the first night and in the morning but the next evening it wouldn’t turn on and unfortunately even though I told the reception, no one came to have a look at it and I was told to open the windows. Since the room was on the balcony level I couldn’t open the windows to get some air in as people on the balcony were able to see into the room (I realised this when I made eye contact with someone in the mirror the first morning when get ready - awkward). So unless you want people to have a full view of what you’re doing, you can’t open the windows. Quite unfortunate since it was around 30 degrees. Other than that, it’s a good budget friendly place, about 30-40 minutes away from Venice on the bus, close to cafes, restaurant and shops, in a nice area.
Oh and the bed wasn’t exactly comfortable, could feel the springs dig into my back all night so I probably wouldn’t want to stay for more than 2-3 nights
The rooms where we stayed were totally different to what you see on pictures. The floor was too dirty, the bath didn’t work properly and the beds didn’t seem too much clean. People who worked there were fine, but we had a very bad experience with hotel itself!
This hotel was not at all what I expected. A place that welcomes visitor can be a simple place but clean, specially during COVID. I asked to change rooms and each one was dirtier than the other. I left the next day. Would have left the same night but it was too late .
In our first room we found an ant's nest underneath the mattress. In our second room we found Cockroaches. Then there is no breakfast at all, a massive amount of pigeons faeces on the terrace, No fridge in the whole building, The bathrooms smelled awful and of urine and poo.
The hotel room had an awful stench of urine. The bathroom was unbearable due to the smell. The shower was broken, we reported it and were told we had to deal with it. The carpets were dirty. It was awful. I would not recommend staying here at all. In my opinion the hotel should be closed down and refurbished.
Hotel location is great but hotel itself is run down, very outdated, in need of TLC (many defects), etc. My first impression when I opened the door was how dodgy it looked. If you can go past it, it may not be that bad, I certainly managed to sleep well, and it still felt clean overall. Also for some strange reason I could not use my bank cards inthis hotel whereas I could use it elsewhere? In short great value if you can bear the state of the hotel!
This “hotel” is the worst place I have ever been to: smelly, dirty room, mold everywhere, broken shower door, sink, ants in the bathroom, human hair in the shower, trash in the drawer by the bed, .. lady at the check-in didnt speak english, she knew maybe 5 english words, also she could not find my reservation … The smell because of the mold in the room was so bad we had to sleep with open window (in february!), overall really bad experience.
Absolutely terrible experience! Dirty, spiders were running around. Our room smelled awful! Stuff didn't speak english. Beakfast was promised, but there weren't any. But the godawful smell was definitely the worst! If only I can give this hotel 0 star!
The staff don’t speak English or even Italian. Really bad odor in room and bathroom, dirty , moldy, horrible beds and sheets. The hotel is rated “3 stars” I don’t know how, IT IS PROBABLEY ONLY A 1/4 OF A STAR. Avoid this hotel, you will loose your money. WE RENT IT THROUGH ORBITZ, BUT LAST 2 hours there and leave. It was a waste of time and money.
This was the worst hotel I have ever been in my life. No housekeeping, no TV, no air conditioning. Staff were awful. The noise was enormous. They lied about everything. There’s no mall attached, and they did not say that there is a bar underneath the hotel. The noise was on believable. I can’t believe they’re even on Hotels.com. Everything they said on the website for Hotels.com was a lie.
I will never recommend them they’re awful!!
The staff were kind and friendly. But the room and its facility were terrible, unbelievable low quality, dirty, full of damaged. Their blanket was thin and uncomfortable and dirty. The sink was clogged. warm water flow was good and very hot, but almost no cold water, which make the water connection unuseable. the heating in checked in was fine, but in the evening it gets off and we had no heating till check out, then we slept in freezing room in Venice winter. this hotel makes our new year exoerience in lovly Venice, terrible.
Starting with Check in- we booked family room with 5 beds, and got a normal room with double bed and dorms bed, overall for 4 instead of 5 persons. The clerk at the front desk was able to solve it eventually.
Hotel is old and not in good condition. Smell is not good, especially in the room. Old furniture and bad maintenance of the rooms. Our room was having a torn curtain and also in the bath: the shower was missing 1 door, the shower flooded since the pipes were probably blocked, Gothelf main light was missing bulbs so it did not work, the light over the mirror had 1 of 2 damaged light.
