Secret courtyard rooms.

It is a beautiful little town with a lot of grand old houses. The accommodation was at the back of the property away from road noise with a lovely central courtyard. Tastefully decorated & a large shower which is a find in Italy. Walk to fabulous restaurant & town shops.

J’ai apprécié mon court séjour au Relais Alcova Del Doge. La réceptionniste fut accueillante et on a répondu à nos interrogations: suggestions de restauration. Le déjeuner était excellent.

We were very happy with our stay here. Initially we were put in the wrong room, as I had purposefully booked a room with the soaker tub, but the staff were willing to change our room with minimal discussion. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which was a very reasonable price.

It was a sleepy village with great bus service to Venice. About 40 minutes. Walks around the area we’re pleasant as it lies on the grand canal which, in old times would ferry people from the city to their country pile! It’s quite lovely and a safe bet not to be disappointed.

L'hôtel disposant d'un parking, nous avons pu aller visiter Venise sans stress ; en effet, un bus direct s'arrête à 200 mètres de l'hôtel (on nous donne une feuille avec les horaires aller et retour) et nous conduit jusqu'à la place Roma, au pied des Vaporetto ; très pratique Notre chambre était très confortable, au calme et les petits déjeuners copieux, buffet à volonté.

piccolo e grazioso hotel in ottima posizione strategica per Venezia: ci si arriva infatti in poco più di mezzora con i mezzi del trasporto pubblico ( linea "53E" ogni mezzora, con fermata a circa 400 mt) al prezzo di € 6,8 andata e ritorno. Struttura accogliente e pulita, personale gentile.

kleines historisches Hotel

Das Hotel hat Charme. Unser Zimmer war immer sauber, ebenso das Badezimmer. Leider fehlte ein richtiger Schrank (es gab nur eine Kleiderstange hinter einem Vorhang und eine Kommode). Der Geräuschpegel der Via Nationale ist tatsächlich sehr laut. Wir hatte im Hochsommer allerdings eh die Klimaanlage an. Aufgrund der guten Isolierung der Fenster war es daher recht leise. Aufgrund der alten Bauweise war das Hotel insgesamt sehr leise. Die anderen Gäste waren nicht zu hören. Das Hotel verfügt über einen schnuckeligen Innenhof. Wir haben hier des öfteren unser mitgebrachtes Abendbrot verspeist. Wer lieber Essen geht, dem empfehlen wir das Evolutione del Gusto (ca. 200 m vom Hotel). Wir haben selten eine so gute Pizza gegessen. Das Frühstück war nicht herausragend, hat aber unsere Anspüche durchaus erfüllt. Von Mira aus empfiehlt es sich, Chioggia (Klein-Venedig) und Verona (auf jeden Fall mit der Arena auf den "billigen" Plätzen) zu besuchen. Venedig kann man sehr gut mit dem Bus erreichen. Eine Rückfahrkarte kostet knapp € 7 p.P. (bitte vor Antritt am Kiosk kaufen, im Bus ist es teurer, Entwerten nicht vergessen) und dauert 30-40 Minuten. Das Personal war immer sehr höflich und hilfsbereit, eine Verständigung auf Englisch war kein Problem.
