"The location is great. Steps from the beach and a block away from DT Ventura. We stayed on a busy weekend, so I’m guessing that affected the overall infrastructure. The hotel is fairly dated and needs some TLC. The elevators were super slow and at times were shut down altogether. Our shower drained slowly and the hot water wasn’t consistent. The room felt very cramped with two queen beds in it, and the bathroom was tiny. The balcony was nice but you had to be wary of the condensation from your upstairs neighbors air conditioning dripping down on you. The staff seemed very overwhelmed and stretched thin, but I attribute that to the busy fair weekend. I would stay again simply for the location, but would avoid busy weekends."

"Great location, easily accessible to beach and park. Spacious and perfect for large family gathering. Parking is challenging. The property could use a little attention in the courtyard area. Barbecue grill was basically unusable due to rust and dirt. The whole back area was trashy and unappealing, but great for dogs to roam around in. Otherwise a good find, and we hope to return next year if the property hasn’t been sold."

"We loved our time here! Beautiful house and beautiful location. Easy check in and out. Fans provided for all the bedrooms were nice since the house didn’t have AC. The shower upstairs was amazing!"

"This is a great house for a family or a group of adults. Four of the bedrooms have king-size beds and easy access to bathrooms. We loved it for our family because there was a room that had four twin beds and a pullout couch for the kids.It was clean and ready for us. So many fun toys, ping pong, basketball game, and places to spread out. The kitchen is amazing, as well as the sitting room adjacent to it and the dining room. We ate outside a lot and really enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub.Right across the street is a beach called big beach with access to the water for the paddle boards, Pickleball courts, a great playground for the kids. This is an amazing amenity right outside the front door!It’s also perfectly located in the Ventura Harbour and we would definitely rent this house again."
