The main issue we had was that our room (on the first floor) was very moldy. There was visible black mold on the ceiling and walls and an overpowering smell of mold as soon as we opened the door. All of my clothing (in and out of my bag) smelled strongly of mold when we left the next day (and still smells two days later). After sleeping there only one night both of us had notable congestion and irritated eyes, noses, and throats when we woke up. If you have asthma or other sensitivities I might search elsewhere. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and clean, the bathroom was spacious and clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The air conditioner worked well and quickly but definitely seemed to be the source of some of the mold issues. We took advantage of the onsite parking, which was a little hectic when we tried to leave because we were parked in. So if you use the parking option plan accordingly if you're on a tight schedule.

Great location. Just a very short walk to the Malecon, Zocalo, restaurants, and the beach. The rooms were very nice and clean. The roof top terrace needs attention like more patio furniture and cool lighting so that guest would want to hang out there. Food trucks parked across the street was a nice surprise. Free on site parking is always a deal breaker for me. This one has it!!! I would stay here again.
