"Very interesting place. I loved the historic feel. However, the floors were very squeaky and almost felt like you could fall through sometimes. The continental breakfast, although appreciated, was very slim. One type of (huge) muffins, stale bagels, yogurt, orange juice, coffee. Having some milk, cereal or fruit would have been nice. Friendly staff however, we barely saw anyone at all."

"There was an industrial fan running outside our window all night; not ideal for sleeping. Otherwise, the inn is historical, and the rooms a bit small, but very clean and comfortable, with updated plumbing and nice linens. "

"A quaint old b&b with beautiful character. Easy walk to downtown that has restaurants and shopping, a park with nature trail a very short walk down the street.(highly recommend) Fantastic breakfasts, and Heather was a fantastic host! We hope to go back for our anniversary next year!"

"The home and entire property is lovely. Our room was not in the main house but it was roomy, clean and comfortable. Loved the cute Conutry store as well. Charge a little more and include a breakfast voucher. "

"Beautiful old building, well maintained. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was great. Bathrooms in these old inns are afterthoughts, this one was squeezed in and did not match the high nightly price the inn charges. Fiberglass tub/shower was adequate but tight so wondered why they bothered with the tub, should have just done a shower and gained some room. Vanity top was in good shape but laminate. More than one floor tile was cracked and in full view from sitting on the toilet,...

"Hyde Away Inn, though rustic and simple, was perfectly enjoyable. Accommodations were spare but comfortable and dinner and breakfast excellent. Staff were friendly, courteous and timely. Really a nice place if you don't need all the bells and whistles. The basics were just fine."
