"This hotel is a great representation of a niche throw back. Record players in the room. Stacks of records in the hall to enjoy. The lobby is beautiful and they are attached to the movie theatre, which is old school and beautiful to witness. The hotel is in a TERRIBLE AREA and in fact Brattleboro, VT has an extremely large homeless and drug population. I truly feel for the business’ in the town. No foot traffic. We didn’t see one police vehicle at all. Multiple people told us to keep our wits about us if walking at night. The restaurants that we did visit have lovely people and are friendly but the places to see are not worth a visit to this sad town. It’s truly unfortunate too. You have this idea of small town in New England with shops and mom and pop places to eat and this had almost NONE of that."

"Our weeklong trip meandering the roads of Vermont was made more memorable by our stay at the Brook Bound Inn! The property is gorgeous and impeccably maintained! Our room was clean and so quiet! The bed was comfortable, and the blackout window blinds allowed us to sleep a little later than normal. The bathroom was very clean with a large shower and great smelling body wash, shampoo, etc. Jake and Hope were so helpful before and during our stay. We also appreciated the robust WIFI. We didn’t try the amazing pool this time, but we will for sure on our next trip!"

"Going to Wilmington in the off season is amazing! The club house along the the cabin made it a great deal. The cabin is really nice but needs some cosmetic updates though. It feels like you are staying in your family's cabin that's been in the family for years. There were many, many beds! The layout was great. It was stocked with everything you needed. I especially liked the little packet of dish soap, sponge, detergent, etc."

5 Bdrm Lakehouse, sleeps 18, private dock, hot tub, 15 minutes to Mount Snow

"The Lake view and the sound of the loons every day was beautiful! we saw and heard Eagles every day and had a visit from a black bear and a red fox. The walk down to the lake was tranquil and beautiful, but I would not recommend it for people that have issues walking up or down steep grades."

"The hotel is a little dated but in a charming way. It’s very clean and well organized. The pool was spotless. We loved the selection of board games and the rocking chairs on the front porch. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely not hesitate to return."
