Hideaway Inn Mt. Snow

"The room was VERY small, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is not an attendant or any staff onsite. I had a bit of trouble getting the pet registration taken care of since I booked through a 3rd party. We asked for a 1st floor room since there's not an elevator. When we received our check-in information, we were given a room on the 2nd floor. If we only had to carry backpacks, it might have been fine. However, we had large cases, so it was difficult to drag them up the stairs. Also, if you are an above average size person, know that these rooms are small spaces. The bathroom is barely big enough to turn around in and the shower is tiny."

"We loved this place! It was our first visit but oh so quaint. Loved the restaurant, fireplace in the room and all the wonderful siting areas around the property. It is a great place to recharge and watch the beautiful surroundings."

"Good value for a one- or two-night stay. Clean, good bedding and towels, well-located and a friendly staff. Two points to be aware of, though. One, the inn is an old building and it is very easy to hear conversations or other noise from other rooms. Two, the inn uses a virtual check-in system so make sure you know how to get the code to your room before you arrive. For me, the positives outweighed the negatives and I would stay there again."

"The home was beautiful. The view of the lake was great, the walk down the hill to the lake was a bit of a challenge.. my husband did not attempt it. We did get to use the kayak and canoe. The rain hindered a lot of outdoor time , but we played games and had fun. We enjoyed sitting to dinner at the large table and there was plenty of space to go off and read or have quiet time. The host as quick to respond to my messages.. thank you Ashley."
