"Pillow had lots of visible hair (not mine) on it and I noticed it as soon as I got into the room. The front desk staff was apologetic and provided me with new pillows. I checked in at night so it seemed that maybe housekeeping had left for the day already and I was asked to go to the lobby to receive the replacement pillows. I was only there for 1 night and just needed some rest but i couldn’t help but wonder if the rest of the linens were clean/changed or not. Breakfast was what one could expect from a budget line hotel. Spongy waffles, pebble-like scrambled eggs, breakfast sausage, a few cereals and watery coffee, but hey, it’s an included breakfast at a La Quinta not a pay per meal at a Westin."

"Hotel was under renovation so there were painters on our floor each day. Had to dodge buckets of paint, equipment, etc. One day we came back in the afternoon to find our door encased in plastic and tape. Had I known it was under renovation I would have booked a different hotel."
