"This hotel is like walking back into time. Who overs a long shoehorn with their name printed on it. They do! I rest my case. If you are staying in reggio Emilia this is the only place location wise you want to stay. It’s in the middle of historic center which I kind to stay when on vacation. They offer a lovely breakfast for a fee, but a nice coffee cafe is next door. A small bar is attached, not open Sundays Ftont desk provided all the answers needed. If you are coming in o town by train and using the central station (there are two), it’s a 5 min tide to hotel. The furniture in the room is dated but that is what provides the charm. My corner Room was not huge but more than adequate with a comfortable double twin bed making into a king; armoire and desk. The bathroom is updated with plenty of hot water and excellent rain head shower plus handheld with soap and shampoo attached to wall. One last thing about the city. If you are a gluten free vegetarian you will have issues. Reggio Emilia is all about the meat"

"Room was clean, very close to town centre. Parking was conveniently close to the hotel. Restaurant on site seems lovely. The room was spacious. Bathroom had accesibility items such a pull bar etc. Overall I am very happy with this hotel."

"Mirella und Francesco sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Sie hielten sich dezent zurück, waren aber gleichzeitig sofort zur Stelle, wenn man etwas gebraucht hat. Das Anwesen ist super für eine große Gruppe wie die unsere: 14 Erwachsene und 10 Kinder von 1 bis 15. Da der Pool an die Terrasse angrenzt, hatte man immer die jüngeren Kinder im Blick. Das war ein großer Pluspunkt. Mirella hat uns ein tolles Abschiedsessen zureitet - unbedingt empfehlenswert! Der Rotwein von Francesco war dazu die perfekte Ergänzung. Die gut ausgestattete Küche im EG wurde für unsere gemeinsamen Abendessen genutzt, im ersten Stock wurde für alle das Frühstück zubereitet. Hat alles super geklappt. Unbedingt auch das Gasthaus am Ende der Straße probieren, das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt bei Mirella und Francesco."

"Our stay was a little disappointing. The exterior of the property needs maintenance, with a deteriorated facade and overgrown areas. Upon arrival, there were strong unpleasant odors on the lower level, and seeing piles of bed linens in common areas was not a good first impression. The room itself was acceptable. The sheets were clean, and the air conditioning worked very well. The best part of our stay was definitely the breakfast area: it was pleasant and clean, the bathroom was very well maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, the property has potential, but it needs more attention and maintenance, especially in the exterior and common areas. With some improvements, the guest experience could be much better."

"Dejligt sted, privat pool og terrasse. Levede fint op til dig vi havde forventet ud fra billeder. Det skal noteres at stedet mere er en lejlighed end egentligt hus ligger i samme bygning med andre lejligheder/beboer, så man er ikke helt ugeneret, da naboerne ligge tæt ved. Det skal bemærkes at stedet er i 2 etager. Man kan ikke køre helt op til stedet i bil, da vejen er meget smal, men parkering plads tæt på. Meget huggelig lille by, men en restaurant og en cafe/bar. Fin udsigt fra haven, terrassen og fra altan."

"Very comfortable bed, clean room and renovated bathroom. Good breakfast with several choices from meat, eggs, cheese, pastries, cereals and yogurt. The carpet in the halls could be replaced and the staff could be friendly and greet their guests as they come and go to make them feel more welcome. Otherwise nice stay."
