"When we arrived the owner had not received our booking from Hotels.com. He said that this has been a problem in the past. He found us an accommodation at another B&B so we had a place to stay for the night. The room was very nice and the bathroom was huge. We had an early bus out the next morning and they arranged for us to access the breakfast room early."

"This property was great. Pool was lovely. We sat out our first afternoon and really enjoyed it. Grounds are truly beautiful. Gardens, lighting, paths. Room and bathroom was very spacious. Simple furnishings but comfortable. Clean. Staff were nice and welcoming. The breakfast had traditional Italian as well as sausages/bacon and eggs. Juices. Cappuccino, espresso. All excellent. "

"Raffaele and Luca gave us a warm welcome on our arrival in Agrigento. When they showed us the view from the balcony, our jaws dropped. The entire Valley of the Temples--from the Temple of Athena (formerly Juno) at one end to the Temple of Castor and Pollux at the other end--is visible from the apartment. The online photographs on the VRBO website do not do justice to the panoramic view from the apartment. At night the temples are illuminated. A truly magical sight. The apartment itself is elegantly furnished, remarkably spacious, and conveniently located within easy walking distance of the train station. My partner and I decided to walk from the apartment to the north entrance of the Valley of the Temples. It took us only 45 minutes, on a moderate downhill slope. The walk back up to the apartment took a bit longer but was not arduous--even for us (aged 65). We also enjoyed exploring the city of Agrigento. The Via Atenea is a lively route for an evening's passeggiata. We had the pleasure of meeting Sofia towards the end of our stay. Her balcony is located one floor down from ours, and we were able to converse like neighbours. She was very accommodating when I asked her whether we could leave a few hours later than the official checkout time. (Our Sunday bus to Catania left in the late afternoon.) Since there happened to be no guests booked for that Sunday, Sofia kindly permitted us to stay in the apartment without an additional fee. "

"My husband & I stayed 1 night in mid-May 2025 to visit the Valley of the Temples. It was a convenient choice, about a 20 minute walk to the Juno entrance. The property and the room are very basic, nothing particularly charming. But it fit our needs and the staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet made our morning very easy. "
