"We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. "

"We were so impressed with the service and attitude of the staff. This was essentially Rifkhan, who was so attentive and helpful no matter what our queries or requests were. The meals we had in the evening and for breakfast were simple but delicious. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and matched all our expectations."

"Clean room with hot water. Lovely receptionist who welcomed us on arrival and helped us with booking a taxi to Kandy. Only slight negative was it was slightly noisy in the mornings with staff members walking the corridors chatting and prepping breakfast. All in all really lovely place in a great location. "
