"The location is in a quiet square on the cusp of the museums area. Parking in the road is available. There are some places to eat but rather more a good walk away. Thus the flexibilities of having an evening meal in the hotel are welcome. We ate here twice and enjoyed both meals. Our room was modernised but the bathroom was old school. "we chose Prince of Wales as we had stayed several times before, so we were under no illusions, It's a Victorian Hotel, It has Good Points & Bad Points, Food is of a Adequate standard, not Gourmet but wholesome ! Breakfast plenty food and choice, Bedrooms are Newly Decorated (compared to last time we stayed), Bed, Mattress past its use by date, old metal springs, but no bounce left in it , it was like laying on a hard slab, needs changing, rest of bedroom very spacious, and clean , Hotel...
