10/10 Excellent

"Perfect location: clean hotel, safe location, and close to the beach. Staff is friendly, and the pool is a perfect spot if you want a respite from the ocean. Also, if you purchase the trolley tours, the hotel will call for a trolley company shuttle to pick you up at your hotel and take you to the trolley's main depot. From there you can tour all the important spots in St. Augustine via tolley. So we didn't need our car for the whole weekend and still saw everything we wanted to. There is a restuarant hotel (which we didn't try due to busy schedule) but also a few restaurants nearby and a Publix across the street for supplies. Each day's breakfast at the hotel was great. No complaints."

Oceanview Lodge

"In room hot tub was fully functioning with no issues. Room was clean and AC was great. Beach was a short 5 min walk. The room views are technically not immediately facing the ocean. There is a small public parking lot, followed by a few trees impacting the full view, and then a long stretch of beach. This is intentional because hotel lights and noise interfere with turtles nesting in the area. Because of this we felt that was a bit misleading as the advertising and hotel name said it was an ocean view room, but it is understandable. Continental breakfast unfortunately consisted of a lot of non desirable pre-packaged microwaveable options (ie sausage biscuits, sausage on a stick, pancakes), pre-packaged bagels, yogurt, bananas, oranges, miscellaneous pre-packaged snack cakes, juice, and coffee. Thankfully there is Publix supermarket about 3 mins away. Room has a refrigerator and microwave so it's easy to eat something better. Staff was great and very attentive. Cindy was amazing. I would definitely return again as the location, hosts, and room were excellent."

"This was our third time staying at this location and it is an absolute favorite of ours. You can’t beat the location, we love being just steps away from the beach and its pet friendly so we get to bring our fur baby! We love walking the neighborhood and admiring all the beautiful homes in the area. Love the grill and Publix being right around the corner. We will definitely be coming back for a fourth stay!"
