"Facilities were great only 3 complaints: the walk to the room was very far - almost 1/8 of a mile (from check=in counter) and the bathroom shower door was not practical. It was like a 1/4 door. the actual shower was between the tub and the wall so the door could not close tightly against the tub. This allowed a lot of water from the shower to seep unto the bathroom floor. Not a lot of english channels on tv. Beds were super comfy and everything was clean and smelt clean. Very nice black out drapes even though the windows were not outward facing. Picture the rooms facing a courtyard. Staff was super helpful"

"This is a beautiful hotel and our room was just gorgeous. The staff were friendly and my husband loved the pool. We had refreshing drinks and a delicious meal at the hotel restaurant. The only small negative for me is that it is pretty far from the train and not really near any shopping or sites. However, it truly is a relaxing place to spend your time."

"The Palace Hotel, although pricey, was worth it for location, breakfast that was included daily and the Patio Garden restaurant was excellent! The ferry doc and ticket booth were right across the street which made it easy to use the ferry to get around the lake. The staff was excellent and helping make dinner reservations, suggest nearby restaurants to try, book our private boat tour, and also booked a private transfer for us back to Milan. We were extremely impressed when a Maserati arrived for a private transfer. The room was awesome even though we did not have a view of the lake, that did not bother us since we were only using it to sleep. They advertise the room as having a double bed, the to our surprise. It was a king-size bed! Would definitely stay here again"

"Staff here are lovely and will go out of their way to help in a genuinely caring way. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Hotel is getting a bit tired and in need of an update. particularly the bathrooms and the corridors. Wifi was very slow and the usb charging was old style USB A and didn't work. The area around the hotel is not the safest and there are signs of drug use, prostitution and car crime on this street. Staff definitely make this place much better!"
