Hornbill Lodge

"Kobie, the host, was extremely pleasant and helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was neat and clean and the beds extremely comfortable. We loved the sound of the river flowing passed. We had to ask for mugs to make coffee in the mornings, and Kobie was happy to supply them. There was a microwave oven in our room, but one needed to supply your own dish liquid, washing up cloth and kitchen towel in order to wash dishes. This is not a train smash, but it makes your stay easier if you come prepared. There was a terrific storm one night, with good sized hail; fortunately we had a sturdy carport to protect our vehicle."

"The property was beautiful, but the staff made our stay perfect. The manager was particularly wonderful and did his job to perfection. Rooms were clean. Food was absolutely fabulous!!! 10 out of 10!!"

"Great room with amazing views. Immediate responses from staff. Food offering at Twist let them down for 2 dinner services. Breakfast was sound though. Management did apologise and confirmed plans for the food service going forward. Spa is beautiful as well. Great place. Would definitely be back"

"We had a wonderful stay at ATKV Buffelspoort! The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The rooms were comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. We especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort. It was the perfect place to enjoy our vacation. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to others!"
