"We loved the location of the Hotel. It was slightly out of the main area, but a lovely walk by the water took us there in a very short time. The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming. It is always nice to have parking available. We also appreciated how they set up their TV stations, with the English channels grouped together. The Head waiter in the restaurant was amazing. We would certainly recommend it and stay there again."

"The hotel overall is an amazing property with outstanding views. A very nice front desk guy Cande "Papi" helped me a lot and was very diligent to try to give an excellent service. I had an upgrade do that the AC wasn't working in the room I was assigned to. Breakfast was very good and the Capuchinos were amazing. Bathroom ok, but dirty dirty shower. "

"We had a five night stay at the Lido La Perla having planned to spend some time on Lake Maggiore during our month holiday. It is a very nice hotel, well located near the lake foreshore with excellent access to the boating transport needed to visit the many sights on the lake. The hotel staff were very caring, the breakfast was vast and very fresh food, the room was well serviced with clean towels and linen each day and the bathroom was very good although having to step into the bath to shower is a possible hazard for elderly or informed guests. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the main town of Stresa so dining opportunities were limited but we used the nearby which was very good with a great view of the lake and a good menu. A taxi is required to get to and from the hotel if travelling by train. A couple of negatives are there was no fridge in our room ( forget having cold drinks available in your room) , there was no tea/ coffee making facilities and the tv could only be tuned to non English speaking stations. The hotel’s gardens are quite spectacular with large flowering hydrangeas and indoor there was a pool and very good couch areas to rest. Overall very good but a bit overpriced."
