"We stayed in the Liko room and it was nice for our four night stay. The only down sides were the smell in the bathroom and some minor annoyances with Windows being closed by housekeeping while we were away. The bathroom smelled pretty potently of sewage or septic. The last morning it permeated our room and was unpleasant. We would also leave fans on and Windows open while we wet away each day to help keep the room from getting so hot. When we got back, all the windows would be shut and the fans...

"We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. There was a good amount of information on the area and a tv with current info on the volcano. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Overall, it was a great visit that I strongly recommend. "
