"Cozy wee cottage is a perfect description- except there are little hideaways and even spending a rainy day with two kids here was great. Host was very easy to communicate with and was super kind when I made a mistake with our booking. Will definitely stay here again!"

"I was disappointed there were no plates or cutlery in the room, but I guess that I got what I paid for. The heater was OK on the first day, but it wouldn’t operate on the second day. Otherwise the room was fine and the shower was great. "

"Good location, especially for the Teranaki Falls walk, but also for Tongoriro Crossing (20 minutes drive to the trail head). The staff was friendly. The room was clean and as-described. The property is a little old/dated. Also, the hot tub is only available 3pm to 8pm and you need to reserve a 30-minute slot (on the plus side you get the hot tub to yourself for the 30 minute slot, and the clean it fully every day). "

"The only thing i would change would be the cleanliness of the kitchen . I would give the kitchen a 1&half star for that. It did have lots of utensils and pots and pans ect . If i didn't need to us the kitchen i would stay again "
