Oulton Hall Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort

8/10 Good

"Lovely location, beautiful buildings Nice staff. Clean linens. Mostly quiet. Slightly uncleaned, unfortunately. Dust on the bathroom floor, walls in the bedroom. When we had dinner at the restaurant, we were the first customer but lots of crumbs on the floor. Wasn’t easy to get waiter/waitress’s attention. They were busy chatting when we wanted to order some food or get bills. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Swimming pool was nice too."

The Kiln Hotel, Wakefield (West Yorkshire), Part of the AG Collection

8/10 Good

"Lovely, helpful lady on reception let us check in a little earlier than allowed as we arrived early which was great. We’ve stayed at The Kiln a few times and for the price it’s pretty good, ‘no frills’ room was clean and the bed comfy and the bathroom was clean. The room was warm and quiet and despite terrible howling winds and lashing rain outside we slept reasonably well. Rooms could do with a bit of updating decor wise but we had everything we needed and will stay again"

Hotel St Pierre, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

8/10 Good

"The Hotel is located in a charming village Newmillerdam. There is a large serene beautiful stream near the Hotel St Pierre, where you can take a walk, Wakefield centre is 15 minutes drive away. The Staff were pleasant and In room coffee is a blessing after a very long drive. Omellete breakfast to order was a delightful experience,"
