"Lovely spacious clean cottage, very well equipped. Owners were attentive nice people. Summer or winter very comfortable place to be. Good position for visiting lot's of places. Lovely patio to sit in looking out towards the cattle in the fields, watching sunset or rise! We would definitely stay again. Thank you."

"This is a fantastic property in a quiet cul-de-sac 10 minutes drive from Wakefield and about 30 minutes from York or Harrogate. The cottage is very well equipped and has everything you need for a great stay. Clean and modern inside ample parking and great views."

"It was a lovely stay and local area was nice. I recommend the pickled pheasant pub. The bike shed was full so we couldn’t use it unfortunately. The house was very cozy with lots of blankets, nice stay. Great views too. "

"Spent 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable and well equipped property. Great location with walks from the door and well placed to explore the Holme Valley, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, National Coal Mining Museum and for wandering off to the Peak District. Also convenient for Huddersfield. Quiet location minutes from Almondbury where there are shops, pubs cafe and also from Farnley Tyas and it’s pub. Note: the property is on a bus route to Huddersfield. Would we stay again? Definitely "

"Perfect place to stay. Lovely view and a clean space. We couldn’t find a WI-FI code. We could have asked but we were so comfy we fell asleep! We would stay again. "

"For starters the host is lovely and very accommodating. The cottage has parking for 2 large cars which is ideal for the size of the property. Everything inside the cottage was clean.
