"I am traveling solo on a recreational visit to see family in the Davis area. The location of this property is excellent. You’re absolutely right in the heart of Davis. So many fine restaurants within walking distance, coffee, shops, the farmers market. There is adequate parking for guests of the hotel. There is not an elevator, so you have to do some stairs if you're on the second floor. The stairs themselves are of old timber and our substantial looking, but they are uneven and I always felt a little bit awkward on them. The king size bed in my room was comfortable. Although the motel itself is nice, I would describe it as noisy. A lot of guests stand outside of their rooms and talk loudly into the wee hours, and the walls are thin so you can pretty well hear who’s doing what next-door to you. It’s nice that they serve breakfast and I would describe it as average."

"Staff was amazing, food and options were good. Grounds were nice plenty of options to sit in relax. Room overall was good. However they forgot to clean and stock our bathroom. No bathroom towels and tons of hair around the sink. Otherwise we'll definitely be staying again. Closer to everything."
