"Everything about this stay was incredible. From the friendly and communicative staff, to the s’mores from 5-7, to the clean rooms and being in close proximity helped create a memorable stay. Parking for 3 night came out to roughly $222, but would definitely stay at this property again"

"If you have a meeting at the Presidio, the location is hard to beat. You can roll out of bed and practically be there. Like many hotels on Lombard, this Travelodge is pretty basic. If you are looking for a clean room with a decent shower, you should be pleased. The one aspect of the room that I give a terrible rating to is the wi-fi system. It sucks. It is not a secure system, which makes it pretty hard to do certain kinds of work. It constantly requires you to sign in, and since I don't go around with the password memorized, it is a significant hassle. That is really the only reason why I would consider moving to another hotel for my twice a year meetings at the Presidio."

"The room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and courteous. But it was lacking some essentials for the price we paid compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in SF. Such as a lighted or any kind of makeup mirror. And the light was not adjustable in the bathroom for putting makeup on. No place to conveniently hang a used hand towel or wash rag. Very little room to place toiletries for two guests. It would have been adequate for one person. Only two towels, which really isn’t enough for two people if you use one for your hair, and one for your body. No coffee maker and we were on the 5th floor. The room really just had the bare necessities. But it did have a very large tv, and although it was smart, it did not have HBO Max, Paramount+, Apple TV, Prime Video. Just YouTube. And Sling. And no instructions on how to operate. It was easy to walk to nearby shops and restaurants. I’m not sure we would stay there again, unless we got a really good room rate."

"The staff was amazing w the exception off one surly waiter in the dining area/bar area We were there from 8:15- 10 ish last night. He acted like we were putting him out and the service was so slow. He got mad when I asked him if we could order off the bar menu after 9. I was shocked since all other staff was so good."

"The hotel offered excellent value for the neighborhood. The location was convenient, the staff was friendly, and the property was clean throughout our stay. While the hotel is well-maintained, there are a few upgrades that could justify a higher nightly rate. From a hospitality and design perspective, I would recommend modernizing the lighting with warmer, layered ambient lighting (particularly in the guest rooms and bathrooms), replacing the mattresses and pillows with higher-quality options, and refreshing the bathrooms—especially the shower inserts and vanity countertops. These relatively straightforward improvements would create a more elevated guest experience and, in my opinion, allow the property to command a higher price point while remaining competitive in the neighborhood. Even at a very modest price increase these renovations could likely pay for themselves in 18-24 months. However, as is, the location is outstanding and the property suited our needs for our trip."
