"The rooms were very clean, the beds were very comfortable, if you required any extra items from housekeeping they were very obliging. Breakfast was plentiful, cereals, fruit, toast, fresh pastries. A good selection of freshly cooked breakfasts, have it how you like it, servers were very friendly and cheerful, Helen the manager knew our drinks preferences, after the first morning and was very helpful. The bar staff were pleasant and cheerful, Chloe was very nice, chatting to us during the quiet times. A pool and jacuzzi, as well as a sauna and steam room, are free to use from 6am -9pm, towels included, very clean and well maintained. Plenty of on site free parking. Although refurbishments are currently on going to the hotel, none of it interfered with our stay or effected our experience. "

"Room was compact but comfortable, the bed especially comfortable. Best in room coffee ever! TV was impossible to sort out, HUGE but useless. A leak from toilet cabinet meant floor was wet most of the time, and was reported to manager, I'm sure it'll be fixed for next people. Pub is oozing with atmosphere, food is excellent. Staff are great. Somebody could pick up litter outside once in a while to improve the look."

"I had a pleasant and comfortable stay. I only ate at the hotel one evening but the salmon fillet was delightful. All of the staff were polite and friendly whilst remaining very professional. Nevan, in particular, was remarkably calm, professional and attentive in the face of multiple large coach-parties in addition to private guests, making him a true asset to the establishment. "the room was fine, reasonably modern in a very old school hotel. However the shower was freezing...only saved by having a bath where the water was hot"

"A delightful stay. Room was spacious, clean, with great views. Lots of choice for breakfast. We only stayed one night but walked down to the waterfront in the morning which was definitely worth doing. Would love to return again soon!"
