You can fish and canoe on the lakes. Nearby Ward, Colorado, offers overnight accommodations, restaurants and bars - if you are looking for night life! Camping facilities abound in the area. Close to everything Estes Park has to offer, but just far enough away for peace and quiet (we could even hear the river across the road). "Very nice property with everything you need for a great stay. Really liked the privacy of having 2 bedrooms/bathrooms. Specialty coffee machine was a big plus! Nice views of the mountains out front. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early and weren't able to enjoy the area but hope to go back in the near future."
