"Great food and a convenient place to stop for the night"

"It was very good"

"Lovely dinner and staff. Breakfast is sent service continental style, so no cooked options which was a shame after the dinner. It's a 14th century pub, so lots of character and in a small village."

"Room and bathroom were absolutely gorgeous. Staff were really friendly and helpful. We ate here each night sitting in the beautiful garden area. Definitely would recommend"

"Lovely room and friendly staff "

"Bathroom was to small otherwise good"

"I would advise other travellers to be cautious, especially if arriving late or making a last-minute booking. I should also mention that I was told I would not be offered breakfast because I had booked last minute or arrived late. My experience with the reception staff made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Regardless of the price paid for a room, every guest should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not stay here again."

"we stayed in the hay loft which was perfect for the 3 of us. it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. breakfast was included and was excellent- good selection and excellent quality ingredients. would definitely recommend"

"Lovely room Excellent food Thank you - I will be back "

"The staff were so amazing! We travelled with a baby and while there was stairs they helped carried everything up, let us check in early and had a free wine on the house! Super lovely room, and the bar downstairs was delicious. We loved the location!"
