Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo

"The room was fantastic for my friend and I. We each had a twin sized bed, but it was decently sized, not cramped at all. The location was fantastic, right next to the station and it wasn't far to go to all the big places in Tokyo we wanted to go to. Also, the in room massage was AMAZING! It's amazing how they can come right up to your room so we didn't have to go anywhere. A bit pricey, but definitely worth it (get the oils). The Chinese restaurant was good, the menu was a bit different, but I found something basic enough to get (some of it was too adventurous). The Midtown BBQ, Starbucks is RIGHT next door as well, so matcha/breakfast/lunch was easy to access. I will be staying here again, but this time with my family! 10/10."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Sotetsu Grand Fresa Takadanobaba! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the location was incredibly convenient—right across the street from Takadanobaba Station, making it easy to get around to other parts of Shinjuku and Shibuya. There are also so many places to eat and shop in the surrounding area, so we never had to go far to find something. It’s close to Waseda University and Tokyo’s K-town, which made the neighborhood even more interesting and convenient to explore. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful personal amenities provided by the hotel, including the pajamas. They really made our stay more comfortable, and next time we’ll know we don’t need to pack quite as much! It also rained almost every day during our stay, so we were very grateful that the hotel let us borrow an umbrella. Overall, the hotel made our trip easy and comfortable, and we would happily stay here again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Marumi Hotel Tokyo Asakusa. The room was very clean and, compared to all the other hotels we stayed at during our trip to Japan, it was surprisingly spacious. It was nice to have a little extra room to relax and organize our luggage. The staff were always present, friendly, and helpful. They were especially helpful when we had questions about arranging luggage transportation to our next hotel in Kyoto, which made that part of our trip much easier. The location was also very convenient. There was a laundry just around the hotel, which was really helpful during our trip, and there were several restaurants nearby that stayed open late, so it was easy to find something to eat even after a long day of sightseeing. There was also a scooter/bike rental spot right outside the building that you could use through the LUUP app, which was another convenient option for getting around. The only minor drawbacks for us were the toiletries. The shampoo, conditioner, and body soap made my scalp and skin feel a little dry. The toilet paper was also quite thin, although I'm not sure if that's common in bathrooms throughout Japan. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and really appreciated the cleanliness, spacious room, helpful staff, and convenient location. We would definitely consider staying here again when visiting Tokyo."

"I just returned from my trip to Tokyo and I stayed at APA Hotel Keisei Ueno Ekimae Minami for 4 nights. Getting to the hotel in the evening from the Keisei Ueno station was quite straightforward. Check-in was quite smooth and I was provided with a room on a higher floor (as I requested). The room was quite tiny and compact, but I was impressed with the flow of the room and I was equally impressed with how purposeful the tiny bathroom was. I purchased breakfast with my stay, however, I had to miss breakfast on all days because I was quite sick with a cold and I did not want to inconvenience other travelers or visitors with my cold. This hotel, not to be confused with the other APA Hotel that's literally just steps away from the Keisei Ueno station, is also centrally located and is very close to the Ueno station that serves the Hibiya metro line, the Ginza metro line and the JR. As well, I was happy to be close to a plethora of food choices, shopping (including tax-free for tourists), Ueno Park, and convenience stores for quick grabs. Shout-out to the cleaning staff who did an amazing job of cleaning my room, most likely on a short turnaround. I really appreciated receiving new towels everyday in the APA bag that was hung outside my door - it felt like receiving gifts! Every floor of the hotel has water dispensers which was god-send for me because I was super dehydrated from being sick and needed water throughout the nights. Thank you APA Hotel Keisei Ueno Ekimae Minami!"
