"This is a residential area. I didnt see any shops or places to eat nearby. However very close to train station. You need to check in with an emailed code. Room was fine and large. A very nice breakfast was included at the sister hotel a few doors down which was really good. Overall recommended but my big tip is dont expect nearby shops or places to eat. Is nice and quiet area. "

"Aux Herbes Hautes is located in a beautiful place, just by the bord of Pas-de-Calais, but not far from Lille and some of the busy parts of the Nord department of France. The owner keeps a pristine apartment comprising a small kitchen, sitting room and bathroom on the ground floor, with a king bed and bath on the first floor. Nice decor all around, comfy beds to sleep, amazing shower to relax and nice toiletries (Shower gel and Soap). Air Conditioning helps with sleeping both upstairs and...

"Firstly this b&b is most certainly NOT in a rural location as described by Expedia and is definitely NOT multilingual. Just the one member of ‘staff’. The b&b is in the city centre and surrounded by buildings. The only parking is on street - if your lucky. The place does not have its own ‘free parking’ at all. We arrived at b&b at 20.00 after booking our room at 13.30 on the same day to find no one there. Proprietor eventually appeared from property next door as we phoned him and he had no idea...

"We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived even though the owners had not realized we had booked. They did their best to get the room ready quickly. They provided us with an evening meal and a complimentary drink. The guesthouse is lovely and very freshly modern. Breakfast was great and had a lovely selection of foods. The room was very warm, however, even with windows open. Noise from the road traffic may put off light sleepers but this is not the fault of the owners."
