The chap came into reception on his mobile and was not that bothered we were there, kept the person on his mobile whilst checking us in. We were kind of chosen where we needed to go by ‘our of here, in the car, turn left up the road, through the gates and you’re there’
We did exactly that. Cut to us wandering around in the dark, with no knowledge of where our room is. What’s worse is the room name we had wasn’t listed on any building. I called reception and he reluctantly drove up to help us. Our key cards didn’t work on the main door into our building anyway so even if we had found it, we wouldn’t have gotten in. The chap did go and get us another key and bring it back but after 25 mins of being in the dark and trying every door in a yard area we were a little annoyed."
