There was a pupusa and a taco vendor across the street, which is amazing, but other than that, it's in a pretty sketchy area. The hotel staff is awesome. "This is a beautiful property right in the heart of UCLA and Westwood Village. The area is walkable and safe. Lawson, who checked us in, went above and beyond. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. The only thing is last time we stayed, breakfast was included. That is no longer an option. But, nonetheless, we very much enjoyed our stay."

"We really enjoyed our study. It is a simple and clean room but very spacious! The beds were extremely comfortable and I think the best part was it included a Japanese toilet! I did not connect the dots that this is a hotel that caters to people from Japan and it was a pleasant surprise! It was my first time experiencing a Japanese toilet! The staff were always very friendly and helpful. I will lovely stay there again if I'm back in LA."
