"The Pocket City Penthouse looked like a winner when we were hunting out a special place to stay for our anniversary -- and it turns out it was the jackpot! Truly, everything was perfect, from the beautifully appointed apartment and cook's kitchen, to the amazing views -- to the town of McGregor, itself. We loved the little stores and restaurants nearby (those that were open so early in the season), and the surroundings were perfect, the trains, the riverboats, and the green hills with Pikes...

Easy communication with the home owner and not one of us had a complaint. Plenty of parking for our 4 boats. If we planned on going back out to Wisconsin, we will be staying here!"

"There were four of us - all friends who really enjoy fly fishing the driftless region. Eric (owner) and his team were great to work with. There was a small issue with the hot tub and they called me ahead of time to give us the head's up. It resolved itself the next day. House is great and there is a large couch and chairs situated around the fireplace. Everything was real easy. Maybe a new coffee maker? :-). That one took about 20 mins to brew the coffee. "We stayed at this beautiful property for our annual Girls Weekend (8 HS friends) The property and views were gorgeous. The home was large enough for us to gather for meals and games, and yet have space to ourselves. We loved spending time on the deck watching the birds, eagles and turkeys. Tge hot tub was a perfect way to end the day after shopping at Cranfest and Lansing IA. Unfortunately due to lack of rain, there was a burning ban on so we couldn’t use the fire pit. It’s hard to get 8...

"We stayed 3 nights, and had a great time. Everything was as described in the listing. The sun porch was nice, and really loved the coffee bar. We stayed when it was very warm for this time of year and the upstairs window air conditioner was a life (sleep) saver! Don't hesitate to book this property."

"Absolutely beautiful, quiet farm location. Lodgings are scrupulously clean and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was bigger than my bedroom! Lovely host gave us a quick tour of the property, and we met a 2-week old filly. We will stay here again!"
