Started with check in. No one at desk. Required to ring a door bell. Took about 5 minutes for someone to race down from second floor. I had reserved a king suit room. Upon entering room, noticed dust and lint balls on floor and around furniture. A side entrance had a sign about keeping mud outside. Well, there was a mud footprint inside the entrance and remained there the three days we were there so obviously no one cleaned the hallways or entrance area. Later had ants all over a bowl. They didn’t have cups for the coffee machine, no. Reamer/sugar or stirrers. TV in bedroom kept going in and out of service. I would never stay there at a $200/night rate again. Correction, I wouldn’t stay there if someone else paid for the room.
No one in pool are because pool wasn’t heated and temperature in room was colder than the lobby

Quiet, clean, and friendly staff= Grand Stay

We’re choose this hotel because we wanted to walk to a brewery. This hotel was excellent. It was very quiet, clean, and the staff was very nice. It was an easy walk to Octopi Brewery, which has great food and drinks.

The outside of the property is well maintained, the staff was very prompt and helpful. The rooms are being renovated and there are some things that weren’t up to par. The hotel was good for what we needed it for.

This is newly remodeled hotel so everything is pretty new. The breakfast was rather lacking but it was fine. The rooms and beds are nice and clean. It's a very inexpensive decent place to stay in waunakee. I've stayed her 2x this year while visiting my mom and I'm pretty sure I'll be back.

Best Hotel in my Opinion.

Walking to the door i thought it wasn't open but found out they've recently remodeled. I've got to admit this is 1 of the best hotels I've stayed in to date. Staff and owner were extremely accommodating. If ever in area again no doubt I'll be looking it up again.

The room has laminate flooring instead of carpet. I love that. It’s clean and you know it’s clean. The bed and bedding are good. It’s a quiet location. The flat screen is large. The water pressure in the shower is good. All the bases are covered here for a clean comfortable stay

Wouldn’t stay again

Staff was friendly, but the rest of our stay was not great. One member of our party got locked in the bathroom and the straw had to come assist, they did not fix the handle, so we had to leave the bathroom door slightly ajar for the remainder of the stay. The shower/tub did not drain. The laminate flooring was very cold to walk on The walls had been painted at some point but there was overspray on light fixtures Lampshades had stains and tears Sink drain and counter was stained, toilet bowl had stains as well. Would choose a different place if in the area again.
