"Loved the pool and area on the roof! My only complaint is the nosey traffic, which can't be helped, but nice to be aware of that. Also, it says oceanfront but there is a busy street, the main one... the ocean is there, but its kinda dirty down on that part and not much beach area. "The property owner was very unresponsive. It was missing a few important amenities, which we then purchased under our own cost. Although the owner promised that we will be reimbursed for the cost, no actual reimbursement was given. There were water leakage in multiple spot which the owner failed to provide any solutions on. "Great location and friendly staff. Our room was clean and spacious with a view of the ocean. Couldn't quite see the sunsets from our balcony because of trees, but great sunsets from the pool deck and private beach across the street. Yes the building is getting on, but so am I. Plenty of parking for our scooter, and close to most of the beach clubs."

"The snorkeling and scuba diving right off the beach at the hotel was very good. The water visibility right at the beach was the best I have ever seen and there was a decent amount of wild life as well. The food was pretty good and they changed up the buffet every day which was nice to try a variety of foods. I would like to give a shout out to David and Becky. David and Becky were very fast, attentive and helpful. I was very pleased with their service. Becky was super nice, always smiling and very personable. The rooms were very clean and the bed was nice and comfy."

"The best beach, you could be in the ocean for hours at a time. We saw fishes, mantarays, barracuda, etc. The vibrant turquoise color is amazing. The rooms were fantastic (we had an outdoor shower and direct access to the beach). The restaurants were top notch . We rented an overwater cabana at Le Cap and was so worth it! "

"Excellent hotel. reserved 2 rooms, pleasant stay. only problem was the coffee machine (in room) was supplied with one coffee capsule. next day none. call front desk and was told room service resupplied the coffee and told they'd bring some shortly. never arrived "

"The Villa Blanca Gardens is my three-star go to in Cozumel, and I have been there many times. It is away from the hustle and bustle and overcrowding of downtown when cruise ships come in and is generally unaffected by boat tourism. Many folks stay here for the dive, snorkeling and other activities that are available just across the street in front of the facility. One of the best parts is the beautiful garden that is the center of the surrounding rooms. Some good dining opportunities are within walking distance and the on-site Stingray bar & grill is ok for drinks and a quick bite. However, it is too far to walk to the main shopping areas down town, but it is closer than the all-inclusives further south along the West Coast. A great place to truly relax. I call the Via Blanca "my garden Villa get away' that helps me reset mind and body from my busy life back home. If you didn't want/need the all you can eat and drink crowded scene of the all inclusives, the VB is a good budget option."
