Blue Angel Resort

"Excellent small resort dedicated to divers. Not very many left on Cozumel with decent shore diving and an onsite dive shop. Loved the shore dive, both day and night. There is a big fence next to the Blue Angel that contains big nurse sharks and stingrays the cruise ship people come to snorkel around with but you can see them through the fence and get good pictures. Some reef rock right next to shore (virtually no hard coral, like most of Cozumel now) but other life around them. The base of the stingray fence is the most interesting, especially at night with snake eels, lobster, sleeping parrotfish, feeding sea cucumbers and lots more. Boat dock to jump off of for shore dives and good ladder to get out. Pool needs a paint job, but is clean and nice. Restaurant is amazing. Great breakfast with room and other meals amazing as well. Not huge selection, but some nice dishes. Room was challenging, AC barely makes it cool enough. Have to close bathroom door to help keep leaky window from hot air coming in. Very bad street noise. Righ on the main road and speed bumps next to the resort get the loud deceleration and acceleration of motorcycles and cars every night until midnight. Earplugs a good idea. Staff amazing, take car of your gear on and off the boat if you rent equipment. Dive Masters and shore dive shop staff very helpful. Will be going back again."

The condo was absolutely wonderful—beautifully maintained, comfortable, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation in Cozumel.Victoria and Chris were fantastic hosts, and their attention to detail made our stay completely effortless. Everything was exactly as we had hoped, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.Palmar continues to be one of our favorite places to stay in Cozumel, and this visit only reinforced why we keep coming back. We're already planning our next trip in March and hope to stay even longer!We would absolutely stay here again anytime, without hesitation. A wonderful property, excellent hosts, and a truly five-star experience. Highly recommended!"

Pool and hot tub were great and the store downstairs was a plus. We plan to return to Cozumel and we would stay here again without question!"

We had plenty of towels and washcloths. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Mermaid and would definitely stay here again. Our hosts were very responsive to anything we needed before and during our stay. You will not be disappointed."
