"We loved our stay here! Basement apartment below an occupied house, but the noise above was muffled and not obtrusive. It is spacious and beautifully naturally lit all along one side by a row of ground-level windows. The bedroom has a large walk-in closet, and at night is pitch black, so our sleep was fabulous. Very very clean and comfortable. Host was super responsive. Would gladly stay again."

We spent most of our time in the house gathered around the table laughing and eating. "Clean, historic, and truly beautiful. Clean is the number one priority for us. It not only looked and smelled clean, but we had confidence that linens, quilts, and towels were freshly washed, did not smell of mildew, and was not drowned in highly-scented fabric softener beads. As a matter-of-fact, I didn’t notice any fragrances (which, by the way, I can’t physically tolerate). Honestly this property was even nicer than the online listing shows it. We highly recommend."

"The price was affordable for timing with the Boston Marathon. It is an excellent neighborhood, the process and communication was great. The interior is just OK but that is what we were expecting. My only suggestion would be a bathroom remodel and get rid of the tub in favor of a small walk in shower. When showering with shampoo etc mounted on the wall it is very restrictive if you are at all above average size. And, shower curtains in general are gross but with the size restriction you can’t...
