We came for a week of rest and found it here. Service was courteous and we especially enjoyed getting to know some of the waitstaff whom were more interactive with us and our dog. Very pet friendly hotel! The views were spectacular as we were able to enjoy a beautiful winter snowscape and as the weather warmed, we saw peeks of green and the beautiful color of the lake. Hotel Waldman is a jewel. This wonderfully charming family run hotel and restaurant is gorgeously surrounded by picturesque Bavarian country side and snow capped mountains. The food is just as spectacular as the views, and their hospitality makes this enchanted place feel as much like home as it does a fairy tale. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts....we'll definitely be back!

Great location. We had a large terrace with amazing views of the castle and mountains. Rooms were large with ample space. Hotel offered two restaurants and a complimentary breakfast each day. Also offered free parking.

Great staff, especially Hannah, so helpful and nice and she spoke great English. Restaurant was excellent for dinner.

Make sure to ask for the active card. It gets you a lot of free things in the area

Great hotel...great location....friendly and helpful staff for the most part. There was one guy who clearly had an issue with Americans....gave him a 20% Euro tip (which is way more then Europeans leave) and he was still a %^$*&. Great area to bike, hike and relax at the Thermal Pool within walking distance of the hotel and sits in the valley of the Austrian Alps. Soooo beautiful.

You cannot stay at a better property than this one. I cannot say enough good things about everything. The staff is amazing, the location is perfect for hiking, walking to the Castle and just relaxing and the food is the best. We will stay here every time we come back.

We had a lovely stay and hope to come again! We rented the Chalet and it was perfect for us with our two young children, very clean, quiet and spacious. The morning views were breathtaking overlooking the mountains and countryside. Check in and out was super easy. I wish we had more days in the Füssen region so we could stay at Landhaus longer.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hirsch overall and would consider staying there again if we were going to be in the area. The front of the building reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson film, and the inside is equally cute and comfortable with an updated, yet traditional Bavarian feel. We loved our rooms and the balcony was perfect. The hotel was close to restaurants and the beach. The staff was funny and very helpful!!

Well maintained property, in the middle of a nice little town.

The location of this property makes it easy to walk around town to visit the many shops and restaurants. Though the room was small, it was beautiful and clean and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel room is like a palace!! It’s so huge and beautiful, the restaurant and breakfast every morning is INCREDIBLE! The food and setting alone is enough for me to recommend this hotel! But the rooms are stunning, right in the heart of town and you can’t ask for more when visiting the castles! We spent more time in our room because it was so big and luxurious. The day we left it snowed and the mountains were absolutely incredible. Love this hotel and restaurant!
