We came for a week of rest and found it here. Service was courteous and we especially enjoyed getting to know some of the waitstaff whom were more interactive with us and our dog. Very pet friendly hotel! The views were spectacular as we were able to enjoy a beautiful winter snowscape and as the weather warmed, we saw peeks of green and the beautiful color of the lake. Fantastic hotel! Lakeside does not mean lake view and the light in the bathroom is not adequate for applying makeup, but the service is great and there are lots of great things to do in the area. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone. The pools and sauna area were lovely and the bathrobes and pool bag were a nice touch. The Haldensee is an easy walk from the hotel. On the high end for cost, but a nice vacation retreat for friends and families.

We had a fantastic stay at the Ameron Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort. The room was absolutely beautiful—elegantly designed, comfortable, and with breathtaking views of the Alpsee. The staff went above and beyond, especially Tomy at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. Breakfast each morning was a treat—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety. Highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting this area.

Everything was exceptional. Take the time to slow down and enjoy the spa!!! Well worth it!

Great hotel...great location....friendly and helpful staff for the most part. There was one guy who clearly had an issue with Americans....gave him a 20% Euro tip (which is way more then Europeans leave) and he was still a %^$*&. Great area to bike, hike and relax at the Thermal Pool within walking distance of the hotel and sits in the valley of the Austrian Alps. Soooo beautiful.

Hotel Waldman is a jewel. This wonderfully charming family run hotel and restaurant is gorgeously surrounded by picturesque Bavarian country side and snow capped mountains. The food is just as spectacular as the views, and their hospitality makes this enchanted place feel as much like home as it does a fairy tale. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts....we'll definitely be back!

Great location. We had a large terrace with amazing views of the castle and mountains. Rooms were large with ample space. Hotel offered two restaurants and a complimentary breakfast each day. Also offered free parking.

You cannot stay at a better property than this one. I cannot say enough good things about everything. The staff is amazing, the location is perfect for hiking, walking to the Castle and just relaxing and the food is the best. We will stay here every time we come back.

Perfect location, pleasant & helpful staff, great breakfast & nice hotel. Room had just enough space for 2 people with luggage but only 1, very small window...view was nice though. We'd definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hirsch overall and would consider staying there again if we were going to be in the area. The front of the building reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson film, and the inside is equally cute and comfortable with an updated, yet traditional Bavarian feel. The hotel room is like a palace!! It’s so huge and beautiful, the restaurant and breakfast every morning is INCREDIBLE! The food and setting alone is enough for me to recommend this hotel! But the rooms are stunning, right in the heart of town and you can’t ask for more when visiting the castles! We spent more time in our room because it was so big and luxurious. The day we left it snowed and the mountains were absolutely incredible. Love this hotel and restaurant!

Did not know how good it was. Very happy with visit. Will definitely stay there again! And bring my grand kids !
