We came for a week of rest and found it here. Service was courteous and we especially enjoyed getting to know some of the waitstaff whom were more interactive with us and our dog. We really enjoyed this place and all the perks like the cereal bar/mini market in the shared space . The views were lovely and it felt very modern though we were staying in a historic building . We did not have any interaction with staff but everything was clearly marked so it was an easy stay !

Great location. We had a large terrace with amazing views of the castle and mountains. Rooms were large with ample space. Hotel offered two restaurants and a complimentary breakfast each day. Also offered free parking.

Did not know how good it was. Very happy with visit. Will definitely stay there again! And bring my grand kids !

Hotel Waldman is a jewel. This wonderfully charming family run hotel and restaurant is gorgeously surrounded by picturesque Bavarian country side and snow capped mountains. The food is just as spectacular as the views, and their hospitality makes this enchanted place feel as much like home as it does a fairy tale. Thanks for being such wonderful hosts....we'll definitely be back!

Fantastic hotel! Lakeside does not mean lake view and the light in the bathroom is not adequate for applying makeup, but the service is great and there are lots of great things to do in the area. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone. The pools and sauna area were lovely and the bathrobes and pool bag were a nice touch. The Haldensee is an easy walk from the hotel. On the high end for cost, but a nice vacation retreat for friends and families.

We loved our rooms and the balcony was perfect. The hotel was close to restaurants and the beach. The staff was funny and very helpful!!

The location of this property makes it easy to walk around town to visit the many shops and restaurants. Though the room was small, it was beautiful and clean and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel room is like a palace!! It’s so huge and beautiful, the restaurant and breakfast every morning is INCREDIBLE! The food and setting alone is enough for me to recommend this hotel! But the rooms are stunning, right in the heart of town and you can’t ask for more when visiting the castles! We spent more time in our room because it was so big and luxurious. The day we left it snowed and the mountains were absolutely incredible. Love this hotel and restaurant!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hirsch overall and would consider staying there again if we were going to be in the area. The front of the building reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson film, and the inside is equally cute and comfortable with an updated, yet traditional Bavarian feel. Perfect location, pleasant & helpful staff, great breakfast & nice hotel. Room had just enough space for 2 people with luggage but only 1, very small window...view was nice though. We'd definitely stay there again.

Make sure to ask for the active card. It gets you a lot of free things in the area

Mr Lutz is a exceptional person. He woke up extra earlier to prepare the breakfast for me despite his personal duties. Extreme friendly and helpful person! The stay was a dream! I hope to come soon for my ski trip!!!! I wish Mr Lutz would offer a workshop what customer service and care means!

Great hotel to stay for any season.

We were lucky Fussen had no vacancies so we ventured out to Pfrontener Hof and were happy we did. The next-door ski lift up the mountain made for a great day of hiking and views. Dinner options in Pfrontener were also good and easy to get a table. If you are looking for a quiet place with great views away from crowds, I'd suggest you try here.

Beautiful hotel only 10 minutes from the castles! Very very happy with our experience. Easy to find, nice parking, great location walking distance from downtown. We were in Europe for 3 weeks and this was my favorite hotel we stayed in. Clean and quiet. Highly recommend!
