Lovely property very close to harbor but far enough away to be quiet. The room was comfortable and we had the ocean view version with a great view. Staff very nice and helpful.

I loved the staff honestly they were super friendly with my daughter and me… My daughter was very comfortable with davinda. She became good friends with the surf instructor Kyle and loved the surfing experience she had with him making it one of the most wonderful experiences she had … The chef was extraordinary there making sure I tried authentic Sri Lankan food … Over all I’m definitely visiting them again when coming to Sri Lanka … The resort was out of this world honestly…

Spice House Hotel. It’s a charming place, styled like an old British bungalow, right across from Coconut Hill in Mirissa. The location is beautiful, with lovely views, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They offer a great breakfast included in your stay, and the internet is high-speed. Just one key thing to note: they only accept cash payments, even if you booked online through a site like Hotels.com. So be prepared with cash when you leave.

We're a New Zealand family of four living in the UAE and stayed for eight nights in mid October. We had a fantastic holiday and would happily return. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the traditional Sri Lankan welcome dance was a lovely touch. All rooms face the ocean. Hotel is very nice, rooms are big and clean, and breakfast is delicious. Very quiet perfect for couples. If you looking to surf Infront of the hotels and more dining options around you, this spot will not fit.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? From the time you enter the massive fortress doors, you are ushered into paradise. The staff is top notch--nothing is too small or overlooked.
