"Lovely little cottage. We booked here as it was close to Cannon Hall Farm, Hall and gardens, which was the main purpose of our visit -10mins drive up the road! We travelled over 4 hours to get there.Parked on the road, small driveway to other properties you could probably stop outside to unpack if needed but we walked up from the road a few metres.We had all we needed for our stay - pots, pans utensils, towels, toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc. after reading the reviews I took some extra...

"Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and nice. Lounge bit scruffy.Kitchen was filthy. Cupboards had been painted and paint was still wet. Freezer drawers all broken. Drawers not clean and oven was filthy.Sham as the 3rd floor was very nice with bathroom facilities all good. "

"Dead spider next to dresser table, old stain on bedding cover, cob webs on seating tables outside, leaves swept under the outside sofa cover and dirty sofa under the cover. Could be cleaned a lot more professionally Not hot tub instructions in regards to when the tube gets cold as we tried the second night and it was too cold to stay in. Would be nice to have instructions to re heat. Overall the stay was really nice and I would definitely re visit! "

"Fantastic cottage! Comfortable and home away for home. The beds are so comfortable and there is everything you need. Very quiet village with lovely walks close by. Spotlessly clean and Betty is very friendly and informative"

"Had a great stay, lodge lovely and clean,great decor,and the best hot tub we have ever had!.great to feed the ducks from the decking. A couple of personal points , could do with a shelf in the shower to put you shower gel etc on , A waterproof mat inside the patio doors for when you come out of the hot tub to stop you trailing water across the lounge floor"

"Our stay was wonderful from the lovely welcome we received from the host, to the lay out of the accomodation, which was beautifully clean and so welcoming. Absolutely everything had been thought of. And our little dog loved playing with the host's dogs. Loved it, cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!"
